A pledge is not a charge
Before a verified goal exists, the amount is a cancelable expression of support. Animal Radar does not collect or hold the money.
Report a lost or found animal, rally nearby help, and keep everyone aligned with one trusted timeline.
Animal Radar coordinates community help. It is not emergency dispatch, animal control, or veterinary care.

An active case can gather conditional pledges without collecting money. A charge becomes possible only after a verified veterinary need gives everyone a clinic, amount, and timeline.
There is no required financial goal or end date. Sightings, needs, volunteers, and updates stay on one timeline.
People choose what they may contribute. No money moves, no platform fee is charged, and a pledge can be canceled before use.
The organizer supplies a clinic estimate, goal, and deadline for independent review. Existing pledges immediately count toward that goal.
Only enough approved pledges are charged. The care amount routes to the verified clinic and Barrett Software's fee is shown separately.
Barrett Software is developing a pledge-first model for advisor and provider review. Pledges and payments are not live today.

A clinic, reviewed estimate, goal, and deadline must be attached before a pledge could become payable.
The proposed payment flow routes successful care payments to the verified clinic, never an organizer or other individual.
No pledge or payment feature will open until the terms, provider flow, clinic agreements, and safeguards are approved.
